Okay, I have been having some rather interesting problems with win3. I have a Swan SVGA card with 1Meg. A Samsung SVGA monitor. A Gateway 2000 386/20 machine, a Perstor controller card, a ST4096 80 Meg drive, 8 megs of ram and a msc mouse with the latest driver. I run win3 in standard mode for speed reasons and because enhanced mode gave me too many problems. By the way I am also using QEMM386 ver 5.11 instead of himem.sys and smartdrv.sys is setup with a max cache of 2meg and lower limit of 1meg. My system is capable of 1024x768x256 resolution so I tried that. Everything worked fine with the Swan win3 driver supplied with the card, except, the clock program in analog mode would display the clock hands in completely messed up condition. You could not even tell the time, it was so bad. So, I switched down to 800x600x256 and the clock all of a sudden worked fine again. But now, some of the fonts available are messed up. They are Roman and Script. You can't even tell if those are english alphabet characters!!! Has anybody esle had this problem in SVGA and above modes? The Swan card uses the Tseng Labs ET4000 chip set. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Azam
