[comp.windows.ms] Looking for Time Tracker program

dxa@cbnewsm.att.com (david.r.anolick) (03/28/91)

I'm looking for a windows program to meet a need for a specific Personal
Information Manager (PIM) task.

I have a PIM for phone number, future scheduling and tracking projects.
What I need is a way to collect information about how I'm using my time.
What I'm looking for is a window with a radio button list of tasks:

O - Task one
O - Task two
O - Task three

When I'm working on Task one, that is the radio button enabled. If I get
a phone call forcing me to work on Task two, I click on that radio button.
When I go back to work on Task one, I click there. At the end of the day
(or week), I get a report of how much time I spent on each task. Ideally
it would have various display options. (ie show what I worked on during a
day from 8-5 by colors). Also, it should be editable, since sometimes
I might click the wrong button, or the PC will be off when I am working
away from the office.

The key part is the ease of use during the day (just click on the right
tasks) and ease of viewing/changing results.

Anybody have any ideas?
