Hello, I have been using Microsoft Word for Windows 3.0 and would like to be able to read these files on the MAC throught Microsoft Word for the MAC. Do you have any suggestions? Thank you for any assistance.

You do this by selecting the options button of the Save as...dialog box. Then use Apple file exchange to ttransfer the file to the Mac. It should now be usable in MS-Word on the Mac. To go the other way. Save the Mac document as Rich Text Format and use apple file exchange to write this on a DOS disk which can then be imported into Word for Windows using the RTF filter. This is the ONLY way that I foud of reliably transfering between the two systems. Best regards, Don Lehn

If you save files containing tables in W4W to Word (DOS) format, you lose the table. It got converted into columns. - Stephen
