I have a laptop on which I run Windows 3.0. Because there is only one serial port, I find myself constantly switching between the mouse and LapLink cables. Sometimes I enter Windows having forgotten to switch the cables, so I have no mouse control. Starting Windows again is an easy, but time-consuming and frustrating solution. So, is there a way to activate the mouse from within Windows, without restarting? As an aside, if there's a way of removing the assignment of COM1: from the mouse temporarily, so that I can run LapLink from within Windows, I'd like to hear that too.
