This isn't in the FAQ:
I have an HP vectra RS 386/16 with 10M and 300MB disk. I use
Smartdrv and Ramdrive. I set up a swapfile on my E: drive (That's a
real drive), but sometimes when I start win in 386enh the swapfile
shows up in Setup, and sometimes it shows swapfile as Temporary. My
WIN.INI in both cases still points to E: as the swapdrive.
I've used 386Max and Helix software's Netroom, and I've disabled both,
but still the swapfile comes and goes (seemingly) randomly, no matter
which, if any, memory manager I use.
I'm totally confused.
