I need, as do I assume a number of people, a very simple utility. I want to be able to download fonts from within windows to a PostScript printer without a ton of hassles. I have various kludges set up to take care of it, but it seems to me that a much more elegant solution MUST be possible. So I put it to all you hotshot Windows Programmer types. Would any of you like to take up the cause. All I want is a utility that presents a list of all the .PFB files in a chosen subdir, a way to select the fonts I want d/led, (perhaps a way to setup "font groups" for commonly used combinations), a "send 'em" button to intiate the d/ling, and a warning if something has gone wrong/conformation that everything is cool. The biggest trick to the whole thing, it seems to me, is making absolute certain that it takes it CPU cycles evenly and predictably so that other Windows events don't sabotage it. Any takers? ########################################################################## asmith@questor.wimsey.bc.ca The Chameleon Papers - Vancouver, BC Graphic Artist - Bad Mood Guy - NeXT user Human beings are a great disappointment to me, and it doesn't help one bit that I am one --SF ########################################################################## Fingers Down The Throat Of Love
