Hello, this is my first post, and I hate vi We have ibm 55sx with anemic 2mb ram and anemic 30 mb hd (not my doing) We have VisionQuest dos program with which we would like to use the dos print command to spoole the output. However, the print command behaves horribly slow unless the dos session is given EXCLUSIVE operating rights. Even bumping the priority all the way up doesn't help. That's OK, but what if I don't want to run it exclusively? I know the print command has various parameters to help it run under different conditions, namely /U /M and /S I don't understand exactly what they do. Can any of you give me any hints? I do understand the /B prarameter. We are running windows 3.0 in 386enh mode with IBM DOS 4.00 Thank you. You can either reply in this group, or send me mail at: CBALLEN@CLEMSON.CLEMSON.EDU or CBALLEN@HUBCAP.CLEMSON.EDU or CBALLEN@GEMINI.CLEMSON.EDU or CBALLEN@CLEMSON (bitnet) Take your pick.
