The subject line says it all. I'm looking for a utility that will display a paint BMP file (kind of like PCXShow) from DOS. I don't want to have to start up Windows in order to display this file. There's a long explanation of why I want to do this, but I don't want to have to put it here. We tried converting the file to PCX, but we loose the resolution we would like. Please e-mail responses. I will summarize if there is any interest. Thanks in advance for any advice. Try Graphics workshop version 5.1. It won't display all bmp formats, but it will display quite a few, and you don't have to wait an hour for windows. As a bonus, it lets you do an amazing amout of conversions for a pd program. Joe ruthenbe@einstein
