I have a new 85 Pulsar, and really like the car, but am having
some strange noises during warm-up that concern me a little.
It can best be described as a growling noise, loudest when first
starting, and gradually going away when warmed up. The dealer tells
me that this is normal with the Pulsar and the Sentras, and due to
an aluminum head and some dissimilar metal parts.... differential
expansion problems, I guess.
Does anyone else out there have any comments, similar experiences,
or different dealer explanations? I'd also like to hear any general
comments on the Pulsar- I really enjoy this car, although its a bit
sluggish when shifting between first and second.
