I downloaded Checkbook Manager from cica and the doc. tells me I need win87em.exe from Compuserve, which I do not have access to. Is it on cica, and if so where? If not could someone who has it send it to me? I can be reached at either of the addresses below. Thanks in advance. _____________________________________________________________________________ All the world's a stage, and men and women but players. -- Wm Shakespeare I want to run the trap door! -- me Daniel S. Unless someone (Microsoft or the manufacturer of Checkbook Manager) has released a new version of WIN87EM.EXE/.DLL, the one that came with the Windows 3.0 should work. Some Windows 2.0 programs assume the .EXE instead of Windows 3.0's .DLL . You should therefore copy the WIN87EM.DLL from the \WINDOWS\SYSTEM to the WIN87EM.EXE at \WINDOWS : CD \<windir> COPY SYSTEM\WIN87EM.DLL WIN87EM.EXE So, that should do presuming you have Windows version 3.0 Terveisin: Risto Lankinen -- Risto Lankinen / product specialist *************************************** Nokia Data Systems, Technology Dept * 2 2 * THIS SPACE INTENTIONALLY LEFT BLANK * 2 -1 is PRIME!
