I downloaded Checkbook Manager from cica and the doc. tells me I need
win87em.exe from Compuserve, which I do not have access to. Is it on
cica, and if so where? If not could someone who has it send it to me?

Unless someone (Microsoft or the manufacturer of Checkbook Manager) has released a new version of WIN87EM.EXE/.DLL, the one that came with the Windows 3.0 should work. Some Windows 2.0 programs assume the .EXE instead of Windows 3.0's .DLL .
