I have a '68 Volkswagon Fastback with Bosch feul injection and about 130,000 miles on it. Lately, the oil has been reeking of gasoline. Does anyone have any ideas? I can think of three possibilites: 1) The injectors could be shot. After I shut off the engine, they could be squrting raw gas into the cylinders, which then leaks into the crankcase. 2) It's been cold lately and the car runs like crap for the first 5 minutes after I start it when the engine's cold. Perhaps the gas isn't atomizing completely before it's sucked into the cylinder. 3) Shot rings. I don't think this is it becuse the engine is fairly well. Thanks for any help. Mark F.
