[comp.windows.ms] Panasonic 1180 9-pin in Win3.0

zoroaster@oak.circa.ufl.edu (Walter R. Moore) (04/10/91)

I was just wondering if anybody knew of drivers for the 1180 specifically?
(and if so, where...I'd just FTP to Cica and poke around but our UFGATE is
having it's death throes so I've got a while till I can)

Thank you in advance--		Walter

Walter,
	I posted a similar request a short time back (I need 1091 and 1124
drivers). If you hear of a source for the drivers, please let me know. Thanks
ahead of time.

Info from the WIN3-L list on bitnet:
KXP-1124 works with Epson LQ2500 driver, Adobe Type Manager, and prints at
360 dpi resolution. One must set resolution to 300 in printer
configuration setup. AND (here's the hooker) per Microsoft put as the
*FIRST* line after [DESKJET LPT1] in your WIN.INI file the following:
      prtresfac=0

I don't pretend to understand, just passing info between worlds.

Good Luck.
