G'Day, I've been using Windows for about 8 months now without any problems at all - quite a feat considering the number of problems others seem to have. Unfortunately my good run came to an end last night. I can open a DOS window and run whatever I like in the window including reading/writing floppies etc. The problem I have is when I do something that causes an error like doing a DIR B: when there is no disk in drive B:. For some reason windows switches the DOS window to full screen to display the error message. I can answer the error prompt and then use ALT-RETURN to go back into my DOS window. Does anybody have any idea why it isn't displaying the error in the window without switching to full screen? I must have just been lucky over the last 8 months and not made any simple errors like this and that is why it has taken so long fo rme to see it.
