This might be a FAQ, so please email responses to me. Does Win 3.0 run on Monochrome Monitors with Hercules Graphics Compatible Monochrome Card? My WIN2.1 does not have any trouble running thru the"SETUP". However, while "SETUP" on the WIN3.0, I get all the text and messages on screen, but the Default Prompts ARE NOT DISPLAYED!! I cannot install it as I don't know what the Default Prompts that should be displayed are. I just get the Reverse Video turned on, but the text does not appear in the boxes. Please help solve this. On another problem, since I have 4Meg RAM, all extended, as I don't have any expanded memory board installed, what should my CONFIG.SYS look like, if I have to use windows? Should I specify HIMEM.SYS as well as EMM386.SYS (that comes with DOS4.01)? What about SMARTDRV.SYS that comes with WIN3.0?
