Our setup: Novell Network running NetWare 3.11 50 workstations, most running networked Windows 3.0 All workstations are 386 or 486 PCs All workstations are running DOS 3.3 or higher All workstations have Excelan EXOS 205T cards set on the default interrupt of 2. The problem: Three of the workstations are unable to use copy, xcopy, or any the other DOS utilities when logged into Windows, but work fine when Windows has not been invoked. What they have in common that the rest of the net doesn't: VGA monitor DOS 4.01 Attempted solutions: Microsoft: Remove APPEND from the autoexec.bat file. APPEND doesn't exist in the autoexec.bat file on any of these machines. My Novell dealer/support had me add vpicda.386 to the Windows directories on the PCs and add it to the system.ini file. So far, nothing has worked. Has anybody else run into this? Anybody have a fix or a clue as to what is happening. I have other systems running VGA monitors, but they are running DOS 3.3 and don't have the problem. I have other systems running DOS 4.01, but they have EGA monitors and don't have the problem. Thanks in advance. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Karin Coffee Intel Supercomputer Systems Division Network/System Administration 15201 NW Greenbrier Parkway The LAN Lords Beaverton, OR 97201 karinc@ssd.intel.com (503) 629-7693 =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
