Okay, a couple of real mind bogglers for you. Why aren't there many graphics enhancers/coprocessers on the market yet? Seems to me there is a potential goldmine out there. A heard of a chipset called PUMA that makes Windows twenty time faster in general because of faster screen updates. An even better question. The MAC has a hardware controlled mouse, why not the PC. I hear that as much as twenty five percent of the available CPU time is spent monitoring the mouse. Shouldn't it be possible to let some hardware worry about doing the screen updates and watching the mouse? I'd rather give answers than ask questions but these seem to me to be important areas which have been largely overlooked. Perhaps a comment from a Microsoft employee in the know?
