Sorry, I know there's been much discussion about this subject, but I've yet to get things working here. I'm trying to print a windows postscript file from an ULTRIX system to an apple laserwriter. I've removed the ^D's and the NULLs, but the things still refuses to print. What's going on? Is it the laserwriter or windows postscript code? Any help would be most appreciated. Mark Thomas

I'm interested in this too. I've had this problem with moderate- sized (100-150Kb) Postscript files generated by Corel Draw twice now. I've printed a lot of other, simpler drawings (no complicated fill patterns) with no problems. The funny thing is that my Ultrascript 2.1 postscript emulator has no problems even with these problematic files, and there's variability with different Postscript printers: a Laserwriter II just dies with no printout, a new Sun prints out but the fills and layer hierarchies (which layer is on top of another) get mixed up, and I'm trying one of the original Laserwriters right now. In Windows, I set up the printer driver for one of the original Laser- writers (I'm not at home, so I can't be more specific), and I'm wondering how significant this is. For now, I'm trying out different Postscript printers to see if something works. Then I thought I'd try different printer setups in Windows, and call Corel if all else fails. Is there something else to try, or does it sound like there's something obviously wrong here? I'm very reluctant to give up the vector fills I'm using, even though I expect that has something to do with the problem. RLA
