>>Intresting comments. I'm 6'3" and weigh around 210 lbs. The Audi 4000
>>I recently bought is the LARGEST car I've ever owned. I also own a Honda
>>Civic ('81). Other cars I've owned are several VW beetles and a '78 Civic.
>>Funny thing is that I've never felt cramped in any of these cars.

I am 5'11", and have a similar problem with headroom. What is important
is height from the waist up compared to total height. If you are tall
from the waist up and have short legs, you have to move the seat
forward to reach the pedals. Since cars usually slope forward, this
means your head bumps unless you tilt the seat back. Tilting the
seat back can lead to lower back problems.

Short of buying a truck or a van, the only car I fit comfortably in
is the Saab 900 (the 900s is no good; the roof is lowered slightly
to make the sun roof fit).
