Thanks for the replies to my problem with getting cica fonts actually printing on a genuine Apple LaserWriter + (ROM 38.0). It was easy, BUt it was not in my manual. Did I not get the whole manual? All I got was a little booklet when Adobe sent me ATM free with my Illustrator upgrade. Anyway, hre's how to get the cica fonts to download and print. in WIN.INI under the section for the printer (in my case PSCRPT) there are some lines that say: softfontX=x:\fontdir\pfm\xxxxxxxx.pfm this should read softfontX=x:\fontdir\pfm\xxxxxxxx.pfm,x:\fontdir\xxxxxxxx.pfb which tells Windows that the font is not a residetn printer font and that it should be downloaded and also where to find it.
