[comp.windows.ms] QPC DOES listen..

ntaib@silver.ucs.indiana.edu (Nur Iskandar Taib) (05/11/91)

We were having problems with too-fast pasting with
WinQVT/NET v. 1.5, and one of the new (undocumented)
features of 1.6 was slower pasting. This was one
of the "features we'd like to see" posted on this
newsgroup. Thanks, QPC.

Now.. a little wish list.

Support for the alt-A and alt-T commands (like
NCSA telnet). The one thing I miss is being able
to type alt-T at the Unix or VMS prompt and
having

ftp -n (pc-ip #)

pop up. Since QVT/NET already has FTP server capa-
bility, all it'll need is the string tied to the
keystroke. I suppose I could program one of those
F-keys *sigh*...

I suppose this is a feature better suited for trans-
ferring stuff to and from ones own account than
for FTP-ing to cica et. al, but why not? I suppose
QVT/NET's FTP was designed with FTP sites in mind..
