[comp.windows.ms] Publisher's Powerpak

alansari@copper.ucs.indiana.edu (Mohammad Al-Ansari) (05/14/91)

I would like to hear from anybody who have used Publisher's Powerpak
fonts package from Atech Software. I would like to know how good it is
and how well it compares with other similar packages like Adobe Type
Manager.

Your responses will be appreciated.

I have been using Powerpac for about 8 months with 2 different printers/
computer combinations. With a 16MHz 386SX/Epson Lq800 I found PP to be
very slow. Recently got a 33MHz 486/Lazer printer, and PP is great with
that combo. Some graphics packages require you switch out PP to print.
