What kind of gas mileage does your 427 get? I am fond of the engines you speak of, too, but you have to keep in mind that the Porsches and BMW's meet the latest emissions specs. Of course, if you are refering to modified Porsches and BMW's, my statement is not valid...The point is, let's be sure your comparing engines that have to meet the same requirements (if any) regarding emissions and gas mileage.
