I recently downloaded a "test" version of Kermit for Win 3.0 from Columbia. William S. Hall is listed in the documentation as author of the documentation and/or the code. An e-mail address (william@novell.com) is provided, though it doesn't work. Is there another address available for William, or another location to send comments and suggestions? Though I only used the program for a few minutes and I realized it is only a test version, I believe a few fundamental features are missing. 1) File - Exit 2) Hardware hangup - DTR 3) User defined file naming for destination files 4) Convenient way to temporarily change parity settings for purposes of transfering files (e.g. normally set to none, set to even for file transfers) 5) MSKERMIT.INI-like key mapping (can I copy an old MSKERMIT.INI file to the KERMIT section of the WIN.INI file?) barry -- +--------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Barry B.
