I've got a large set of data that I want to analyze (looking for correlations between variables, trends over time, etc). I then want to graph the results, sometimes in honest to goodness 3D charts. I've been doing some of this with Excel 3.0 (which I'm quite pleased with, by the way), but it looks like I'm hitting the limits of its functionality. For example, it doesn't support full 3D (X,Y,Z) scatter charts. Any suggestions for good tools (strong preference for Windows-based) to apply to this task? A very powerful statistics package that includes all kinds of graphical options on the PC is SYSTAT/SYGRAPH. It is not a windows program at this time but I wouldn't be surprized if their next version doesn't go this way. I am not aware of any Windows specific statistical/graphical software. The mail order price for SYSTAT/SYGRAPH is about $600.
