Hello All, I have a computer I got about a year ago. It came with a Trident 8800 video card and a Relisys 5155 Multiscan monitor. I have been running windows in VGA mode since I got it. Recently I decided to try it in 800x600 mode. I installed the Trident driver for that resolution and it seems to run but the screen is really compressed. It seems to be 800x600 but the monitor has bout 2.5 inches of blank screen space to either side of the display area. This means I'm only using about 2/3 of my monitor area. Is this normal or do I need to upgrade something. 800x600 would be difficult to read by itself it is doubly so shrunk as it is now. I would appreciate it if anyone with experience with such things could help me out.
