Hi, I am currently using word fo windows under windows ver 3.0. The symbol fonts for the HP laserjet printer have been installed (after much help from newsnet users). These symbol fonts reside in a \pclfonts subdirectory and include the files: symbol08.pfm symbol08.sfm symbol10.pfm symbol10.sfm symbol12.pfm symbol12.sfm symsub14.pfm symsub14.sfm symsub18.pfm symsub18.sfm symsub24.pfm symsub24.sfm A record of where they are located is kept in the win.ini file. The trouble is that though all symbol sizes appear on the screen (tested on mono and VGA), only symbol font sizes of 8,10 and 12 pts get printed on the laserjet (HPlaserjet III). I would appreciate any suggestions or comments. H. Pekrides Space Physics Research Institute University of Natal, Durban South Africa.

Pekrides That's all that are provided. You should note that a subset, some greek and the brackets, are available in larger points sizes that are used in formating formulas. John Mireley

The symbols fonts 14,...,24 contain only bracketsand a few special symbols, but no 'normal' greek characters, which will be printed as very small blanks. So long Hans-Ludwig
