[comp.windows.ms] SHARE

This has probably been beat to death already, but what the heck do you have to
do to get Windows to run with SHARE loaded?

I've got a PS/2-70 with 6 meg RAM, 60MB harddrive, and a 3c523 ethernet card.
When SHARE is loaded, I can only open one dos box. When I attempt to open a
second I get the error message, "SYSTEM ERROR: CANNOT READ FROM DRIVE A". There
is a "cancel" pushbutton. Selecting cancel will hang the system.

I am using qemm5.11, am running Windows off of a Novell 3.11 network, am using
the packet drivers (ver. 3.01B) and have excluded memory in QEMM and system.ini
based upon the contents of the reference disk. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Also, I have a 386 clone with 4MB memory, 3c501 card, video 7 vga card, and a
serial communications card. Its running with a similar configuration to the
PS/2 above, EXCEPT that when SHARE is loaded, windows returns to the DOS prompt
in enhanced mode, returns an qemm exception error and hangs in standard mode,
but works in real mode. Any ideas here?

Thanks,
