[comp.windows.ms] Tseng Labs ET3000 drivers for Windows 3.0 installation problem

iga@s514.ipmce.su (George N. Akimoff) (06/04/91)

			  Hi everybody!

I use OPTIMA 1024 Plus VGA card with 512K video RAM (Tseng Labs
ET-3000 chip). It works fine at 640x480,256 and 800x600,256
(VPIC 4.0, PaintPrush IV+ etc.). I want use 800x600,256 in
Windows 3.0 - and today I download ET3000 driver from cica.
This driver supports all avaliable Tseng modes except 800x600,256!
I examined this driver package carefully and discovered that the
line describing "Tseng ET3000 VGA - 800x600, 256 colors" in setup.inf
is commented out and file vga368.drv missing.
Please help me - where I can found the missing file (vga368.drv)
or full ET3000 driver package???

Thanks...

George (iga@s514.ipmce.su) (excuse my poor English)

You might consider to use the Eizo driver's kit instead. As Eizo's
MD-B10 uses the ET3000 chipset you can use theit 800x600x256 driver as a
100% replacement. - It works well for me.

Where did you get a WINDOWS driver in 800x600x256 mode for the EIZO MDB10 ??
I am looking for this quite a while now, but nothing seems to be on the
servers.
Thanks, Kay
