Well, I finally decided to try out the LPS40 on our campus DECnet with W4W so I ftped CICA and got the latest postscript driver for windows. I was delighted to find it knew about our specific printer. I then blindly stumbled forward with installing it. To my pleasant suprise, everything worked right the first time! In the process of installing the printer, I ran across a list of fonts available for the different printers that the .DRV file supports. I assume that these are the standard fonts minus any cartriges, etc. which may have been installed. Well, that was yesterday. Today I want to go back and record a copy of the fonts available for the LPS40 according to the .DRV file (nobody in the computer center, including the help(less) desk or the machine room knows what fonts it has!). As I remember, the information contained both fonts and point sizes. So, I go back to control panel. ARGH! I can't find the information anywhere! I try to uninstall and then re-install the printer. NO LUCK! SO, CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHERE IN CONTROL PANEL I CAN FIND THE FONT/ POINT SIZE INFO FOR THE SUPPORTED PRINTERS IN THE postscrip.DRV file???????? Or was I dreaming? Thanks, Charles A.
