Heres another bug (undocumented enhancement) to add to the W4W list.
You cannot use background pagination when your document gets above approximately
64K in size. Reason:- Because the machine slows down to an absolute
crawl..i.e. it updates the screen at about 2 lines per second and when you
insert type it can be as slow as 1 character per second.
True I only have a 16mHz 286 with 4mB RAm and 20ms HD but you should not
require a CRAY II to run W4W.
The problem becomes particularly accute if you use more than one font or italics
or bold.
I have ordered the 1.1a maintenance upgrade so I am hopeful.
