After reading all of this discussion on DOS 5 V Windows, I am still in a
muddle as to whether or not to part with my money?
I have a 4Mb 286 with a 40Mb (overfull) Hard Disk.
(1) How big is DOS 5.0 (in terms of hard disk space)
(2) What is the memory management conflict and will it affect me (having a 286
thus being forced to run standard mode)
(3) Are there any benefits
(4) Will it screw up my hard disk/applications/machine/life?
I will post a summary to these questions as soon as I receive sufficient replies
to make an informed report.
