I need to be able to load an APL character set and translate keyboard and screen into this set while in a communications program running under Windows 3.0; is this possible? I can do it outside by loading an APL font into EGA/VGA and using MS-Kermit 3.0 which has complete keyboard and screen mapping capabilities. When in Windows 3.0, however, the font is not available. Can I make a Windows font for APL characters and still use MS-Kermit 3.0? The Terminal accessory is nice about fonts, but I can't find a way to remap the keyboard and display. Also: I would like to display tektronix graphics (a la Kermit emulation) in a Window. Finally: Is there a Windows application for displaying PostScript? Thanks in Advance, Andrew Mullhaupt

Version 1.0 of the FMSOUND stuff is coming out in a week or so. It will have MUCH nicer methods of doing all these things. It will have a configurable beep that will stay the same regardless of the song you are playing, and will even use the PC speaker for the beep, if you, as I do, often use your stereo for other things while you use your computer :->. -Dave David Giller ----- (rafetmad@oxy.edu) or (dgiller@oxy.edu) ------------ Box 134 "Some of us wake up -- others roll over." Greetings! I have a question that I figure one of ya'll would have seen. At work, we have a at&t 6383E/33 wgs with an att 320 mouse (logitech) and their vga600 (i think, its really a paradise 512). Our problem is that this beast barfs under enhanced mode. Unless I force it to standard mode with the /s option it only fires up title screen and then comes back to dos with the video mode all screwed up (read I can't see anything but the cursor, this is cured by typing cls). Any clue, would the paradise drivers perhaps solve this? This may not really be a question for this group, but I have another question about this machine/sw combination... Under vp/ix 3.0 windows barfs with an error "can't emmulate instruction." If you don't know what vp/ix is then you probably can't help me with this one. -Thanks in Advance -Dave
