I recently purchased Adobe Type Manager for Windows, and discovered much to my dismay that when I installed it, Usher (a shareware replacement for Program Mgr available from cica.cica.indiana.edu) ceased working! Both programs are current (ATM 1.1, Usher 1.3), and as I use Usher all the time I am very disappointed that I can't use ATM. Have others have trouble with this (I believe both these programs are pretty commonly used by readers of this group)? Is there a solution? Author of Usher, if you're reading this, have you noticed this, and is a solution in the works? Thanks in advance. I encountered the same problen when running Usher as the shell. If it isn't the shell everything works fine.
