I'm trying to convert some Mac Adobe type-1 fonts over to the pc. Is
there a document floating around describing the format of the .pfm files so I
can translate the Adobe Font Metric files included on mac fonts? The .pfb
files are easy to understand, and I'm almost done with the program to convert
the mac LWFN resource files over to the .pfb, but I need to know how to do the
metrics files.
I assume there is a commercial program to do this, but I'm in no possition to
be able to afford it.
Wonder if Adobe Tech support will give it to me for free...
Also are there any outline font editors for windows around? like fontographer
on the mac?
