I installed the necpnser drivers for an NEC P7 over the weekend (retrieved from cica), and seem to have the following odd behavior printing from WinWord -- the document prints fine, but then the page eject following the document spaces up 11 inches from the last line printed, not to the end of the page. Has anyone else seen this, or (better yet) found and cured it? Thanks -- Barry Press Internet: press@venice.sedd.trw.com

I've had the same problem with NEC drivers for Windows 3. The driver that came with Windows 3 did not handle A4 sized paper properly, so NEC was contacted and they sent us a newer driver, version 1.37. This newer version does page sizing correctly, but stuffs up when it comes to handling bold faced/italicised text. By stuffs up, I mean to say that text flows over the right hand margin quite considerably. Not nice at all. I've given up trying to get our NEC printers to work correctly with A4 paper. I suspect that NEC have given up too, if they can't ship a printer driver that works. cheers all christian legg
