Hi: I downloaded this fun program from cica.cica and have had a problem with it. It seems to take over Windows--I can barely get the mouse to respond to me so I can click the right buttons and menu items to try and change the settings or just get out of this program. At the same time it hits my harddisk almost constantly. As long as the Neko program is running the hard disk light is on almost constantly. I have a 286 clone that I tried running this on at home. My machine here at work...a 386sx clone...has the older version of Neko running and doesn't have these problems. Anyone else experience difficulty with this? I'll fix the problem and I'll put the new version on Cica real soon.
Basically, what is happening is that the bitmap is being loaded from the hard
disk. You will not notice the effect on the faster machines, but not everybody
has a fast pc.
I'll release Neko from the window real soon, so hang on please.
