After many requests for access to DOSGATE via ftp, etc... I have uploaded
it to the SIMTEL20 server. Keith was gracious enough to make it available
to all who want it.

You want the following file:

pd1:<msdos.packet>dosgt114.zip

This is the latest DOSGATE (version 1.14), it fixes problems with the previous
release and allows it to be used with many more TNC's.

This release also fixes a problem that kept DOSGATE from working without a TNC
(ie, when trying to user a remote ASCII terminal).

What does DOSGATE do? It allows remote use of your PC via packet radio or
a remote terminal via modem or RS-232. This means you can run *almost* any
MS-DOS software that you could conceive... "*almost*", because, DOSGATE
is designed so that the remote user is NOT required to have any special
software of ANY kind... therefore, any programs that use graphics, color,
or don't interface with MS-DOS via INT 21H for console I/O should not
be considered DOSGATE compatible.

I won't bore the net (again) with the list of applications that I have
running on my DOSGATE system in Derry, NH (NM1D-2, nearest node SNH).

DOSGATE is also available via telephone modem on the following BBS's:

 K4NGC (703) 680-5970
KA1MGO (508) 688-1348
