I have just released version 3.01 of my small DESQview-aware comm
program RBcomm. For those already familiar with it, there is some good
news and some bad news.

First, the bad news: the executable has grown by 1404 bytes, raising
the minimum memory requirement from 38K to 40K.

The good news:
        132-column support
        16550A support
        AVATAR command set added
        speeds up to 57600 bps
a dozen additional powerful macro commands
        Auto-execute macro
support for the separate keypad on enhanced keyboards
optional audible call timer (ticks each minute while connected)
existing serial port parameters read on startup (won't force
           2400N81 anymore)
notification window when file transfer completes while in the
           background under DESQview

And, of course, the ANSI/VT100/VT52 emulations, full remapping of all
Alt- and function keys, seamless use of DSZ for file transfers
(including Zmodem autodownload), 20-number dialing directory, attack
and list dialing, and more.

Available by anonymous FTP from CS.CMU.EDU [128.2.222.173] in directory
/afs/cs/user/ralf/pub (change directory *directly* there) as file rbcomm30.zip
(73135 bytes). It will also appear on SIMTEL20 in a day or so, and on
comp.binaries.ibm.pc sometime in the future.
