I have been devoting some time to fix bugs (in gnuchess-1.55) that have been reported to the net. These are the bugs I have fixed: * A bug that caused gnuchess to report draw or mate prematurely. (thanks tromp@cwi.nl (John Tromp) for your informative bug report) * The caste-with-moved-rook bug * A zero division bug in the time controls. * And lots of other small bugs. I have also included fixes for underpromotion from jhol@tolsun.oulu.fi (Jouko, I could`nt reach you with mail so I hope you can pick up the code here) and the nuxdsp.c code posted recently here. Xchess is not part of this release. All this can be obtained by anonymous ftp from sics.se (192.16.123.90) file: archive/gnuchess-1.55hes.tar.Z Report bugs to me (hes@log-sv.se) or (cracraft@ai.mit.edu) Some things I havent compleately tested: The bigger hash table size (#define ttblsz 65536) instead of 32768.
