The latest BYU version is 2.3.1 dated 28 Feb 1990, and is available from "noc.byu.edu" (128.187.7.2) in the "pub" directory. With this version of Telnet you can initiate ftp sessions from the Mac, and transfer files between Macs in "MacBinary" format (which means that you don't need to "hex" and "unhex" the files. The ftp "mget" and "mput" commands don't work yet (soon, maybe). The latest improvement (made 28 Feb 1990) allows the "NCSA Settings" file to be shared between multiple users.
