Here's a bibiliography on (primarily) gigabit networks culled from the
last two SIGCOMM bibliographies of recent publications in computer networking
(published quarterly in Computer Communication Review).

Note not all of these are about gigabit networks -- I just pulled up everything
with the key-word High-Speed Networking (under which gigabit networking
falls). However, it gives you a good sense of what's out there.

Note this doesn't include the report on the Internet Research Steering
Group workshop on Architectures for Very-High-Speed Networking --
this report will eventually appear as an RFC and in SIGCOMM Computer
Communication Review. For those of you who have FTP access to the
Internet, you can get an advance (Postscript) copy by FTPing from
nnsc.nsf.net:pub/irsg-workshop.ps. [Note, please don't ask me to
e-mail you a copy -- I'm terribly swamped with work this month.
Get a friend to FTP a copy for you, or wait until the RFC comes
out -- Thanks!]
