In addition, I also received several personalized styles via email. In total, these contributions provided great examples for what we must do to meet the quirks here at sdsu.edu. Many thanks to all. We decided to model ours after ucthesis.sty available from clarkson. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- There should be a large number of thesis styles on the clarkson archives: Try ftp (anonymous) to sun.soe.clarkson.edu or Clarkson Archive Server // commands = help, index, send, path archive-server@sun.soe.clarkson.edu archive-server%sun.soe.clarkson.edu@omnigate.bitnet dumb1!dumb2!dumb3!smart!sun.soe.clarkson.edu!archive-server directory latex-style ---------------------------------------------------------------------- > >Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute has one that is >"approved" by the graduate school. E-mail me back if you'd >like a copy... > >J.S. Robertson >aj4640@dean1.acd.usma.edu ---------------------------------------------------------------------- We have a LaTeX thesis style that is modeled on IEEE Trans. Control with special pages dictated by the University. There is also a user's manual. If you want this send mail to chiang@ee.tamu.edu and ask him to mail the style files and manual to you. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- A thesis package in LaTeX designed for requirements at the University of Washington (written by Jim Fox) is available for anonymous ftp in /pub/LaTeX on blake.acs.washington.edu there are three files, thesis.[bib sty tex] ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Try TeXGuide.tar.Z from june.cs.washington.edu under anonymous/tex. thesis*.sty and sample outputs are there. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Our thesis style, ruthesis.sty, includes such things as double-spacing for UMI purposes. It should be available for anonymous ftp from elbereth.rutgers.edu (and other Rutgers sites) in /usr/local/lib/tex/macros/ruthesis.sty -- * ** * * *** * * * ** * is **** * it ** * * random ** ? * ********* Richard Frost Mathematical Sciences, SDSU CA 92182 Internet: frost@sdsu.edu
