There are two. One is "BroadCast", a Chooser RDEV that should be available in the usual places. There is a minor problem with this that people (students particularly) tend to stay in the Chooser all day and do tend to flood the network with the periodic NBP LookUps and responses. The other is "Messages", a DA and Control Panel combo that also allows messages to and from Unix hosts. You can have some novel uses for this with events on the Unix hosts (mail arriving etc) causing daemons to send messages to Mac users. With the right programming it is possible to initiate actions on the Unix hosts by sending messages to them from the Macs! It is available for fetch from the "multigate" area of: munnari.oz.au aka munnari.cs.mu.oz.au Tom Evans wcc@cup.portal.com Webster Computer Corporation Suite J, 2109 O'Toole Ave. San Jose, California 95131-1303 Ph (408) 954-8054 FAX (408) 954-1832
