The goal is to make network users aware of the richness of information and research facilities on the Internet, so that they can take advantage of them. The resource guide is designed to be kept in a loose-leaf notebook, to make it easy to add or replace sections of text. You can obtain a paper copy of the sections published to date. You can then get electronic copies of new or updated sections through an electronic mail mailing list. Each section is sent in an individual message, which contains both a plain-text and a Postscript copy of a resource description. Send a message to "resource-guide-request@nnsc.nsf.net", and be sure to include your US postal address if you request the paper copy. If you prefer to use anonymous FTP, the complete set of Resource Guide sections is available on the Internet host "nnsc.nsf.net", in the directory "resource-guide".
