[net.auto] Saab cars opinion sought

robertj@tektronix.UUCP (Robert Jaquiss) (03/29/85)

-------
Recently I was looking at a Saab car. I liked everyting especially the back seat.
Since I end up sitting in the back seat I want a car that has enough read room
so I can avoid the experience of my head hitting the back window.
I couldn't help noticing that Saab had a number of unusual looking parts.
Do these cars hold up well or do people have sad Saad sob stories?
If I get enough comments I will summarize for the net.
Thank you.

Funny looking parts? I really don't know what you mean by that, but
I will say that the Saab parts are better engineered! I would
strongly recommend buying one, if you don't mind very expensive spare
part costs. I have found that the advantages of owning one (both in
reliability and FUN) far outway the cost of Swedish parts.
