I would appriciate information on the following: 1. How long does it take to custom order an Accord and Prelude in the San Jose, CA area? 2. How much does a FULLY loaded Accord and Prelude really cost? 3. I have heard that these cars did not do too well in the crash test. Is this true? Thanks. --------------------------------- Christopher Kay (2 months and counting) - CS Dept., SUNY at Buffalo ARPA & CSNET: kramar%Buffalo@CSNET-RELAY UUCP: {[bbncca, dual, burdvax, rocksvax, rocksanne, watmath, decvax]!sunybcs!kramar} "Nothing is forgotten or forgiven, when it's your last time around, I got stuff running 'round my head That I just can't live down."

> I would appriciate information on the following: > 2. How much does a FULLY loaded Accord and Prelude really cost? A good price for an Accord LX is: $9,490. That is not loaded. A good price on the Prelude 5 speed is: $11,340 not loaded. > 3. I have heard that these cars did not do too well in the crash > test. Is this true? To quote my local Honda claims adjuster... "Honda never made a 5 mph bumper in their life." I think only the Prelude has the 5 mph bumpers. The Accords might have them. The Civics absolutley do not. This can be painful since the big moosey american car that forces his nose up your ass can waltz away without a scratch, while your Honda's bumper is crushed like a tin can in a Miller Light commercial. There is ONE consolation... the bumper absorbs much of the impact and by sacrificing it's own life, spares expensive repair to the rest of the car. -- UUCP: ...{decvax,ihnp4,allegra}!seismo!trwatf!root - Lord Frith ARPA: trwatf!root@SEISMO "And he made the stars, too, and the world is one of the stars"
