I have a >full Xenix set including the graphics interface, and I'd like to try >a conversion. I already asked it, though implicitly, in vain. Mark Edwards is trying to sell MOKE 2.0 and publicizing the source would hurt its sale. I guess the source license would be restrictive even if you can get it. Maybe we can think of some alternatives. Izumi Ohzawa put KD in the public domain with source, which displays kanji on any IBM and compatibles. And there is hterm available from azabu.tkl.iis.u-tokyo.ac.jp 130.69.16.7 through anonymous ftp, which is a kanji terminal software that works on EGA/VGA. The package contains hemacs that enables you to view (and minimally edit) Japanese text. Hterm is free but not in the public domain. Military use, direct and indirect, is explicitly disallowed. I made a program that does Romaji-kana henkan for hemacs a la SKK. Maybe someone can add kana-kanji henkan part (I don't have time). We can use generic version of MicroEmacs 3.9e (J1.3), though I do not have the version or the source. >Just for future reference. SCO will make their OS and development >set available at half price to "software developers." I actually got >my free because of a SCO screwup on a previous order! What is SCO? Is there a way to screw them again so that I can get one free? (just joking, sorry if I offended you :) /Koichi -- #!note address change!# _|_ \ /_|_ kmori@bek-owl.cns.caltech.edu /|\ __ __|__ kmori@caltech.bitnet _|_ _|_ ___ ------- MORI, Koichi /|\ /|\ / |___|
