There are a whole bunch of public domain lisp interface packages for
Common Lisp. Some of them provide specific support for Lucid. Here
are two that I know about, both of which provide support for editing
definitions:

One package is "cl-shell" from Eero Simoncelli at the MIT Media Lab.
You can get this by anonymous FTP to whitechapel.media.mit.edu
(18.85.0.125). It's in ~/pub/Emacs-cl-shell.tar.Z. The
edit-definition command here is "cl-edit-definition".

Another is "ilisp2" written by Chris McConnell of ADS. It's based on
Olin Shiver's "comint" Emacs shell command interpreter. You can get
it by anonymous FTP to ads.com (128.229.30.16). This exists as
~/pub/cmu-comint-ilisp2.tar.Z. The name of the edit-definition
command here is "lisp-find-source".

Lucid will be distributing copies of these two with upcoming releases
of 4.0. Please be aware that these are public domain packages, so
Lucid can't provide any official support for them.
