Several days ago, someone asked about code supporting logical pathnames.
Other folks since then have asked about performance monitoring tools.

At the time, I tried (from memory) to indicate where code supporting
logical pathnames and a defsystem facility could be found. I was almost
right. Here's the correct location:

anonymous FTP to a.gp.cs.cmu.edu
cd /usr/mkant/Public (note the uppercase "P"!)

Also be aware that, thanks to Andrew security, you must do the cd in one
shot; guests don't have access to /usr or /usr/mkant.

There are several cool Common Lisp utilities there, including the
defsystem, logical pathnames, performance monitoring, and
cross-referencing tools.

Sorry 'bout the earlier bad information!

Just because I work for Apple Computer, Inc. doesn't mean that I believe
what they believe, or vice-versa.
