New Jersey has only full service as well, and (I've been told) the lowest prices in the US. (We also have a lot of refineries) Re: liters. 1 liter ~= 1 quart, so multiply the cost be 4. -- James C. Although I have found that the price of gas falls somewhere inbetween the full and self service prices charged in neighboring states, I am sick and tired of having some moronic high school dropout pump half a gallon of gas over the side of car every time I fill up. When I was down in LA last Christmas, Arco and Arco-type stations were actually more expensive in the LA area than in the Portland area, but Union 76 stations were LESS expensive in the LA area than in the Portland area. Also, you can't just make blanket state- ments like more in A than B without mentioning other facts such as differences in gasoline taxes, and don't forget supply and demand!!!
